Default Water, water, water everywhere

Driving to work today suddenly came upon a wide puddle..got thru no problem but got me wondering does the C7 have a lower air intake?
Its too f***ing wet to get down too see for myself.

Nope. The C7 is not a bottom feeder as are previous generations

Geez I'm fixin to move to Oregon, never thought about the water thing. Maybe I'll install a snorkel a la Hummer.

Unless you drive thru puddles that are something like 6" deep and more, simply driving in the rain won't be an issue. The thing to be more worried about would be hydroplaning in heavy rains on a freeway.

Snow could be an issue too. The air dam under the car could act like a snowplow and block cooling air from entering the radiator. Not to mention that wide tires don't help either....

Few places build up enough water to be a problem and those that do can be avoided.

You know if you don't move to the WET side of the state (Seattle area)...its PERFECTLY dry and warm over here!
