After long last my DSOM 2015 Z06 is home!!!
It's definitely a torque monster.....just pulling out of the Dealer lot no different than I would with the C6Z the rear tires just don't hold and this was next to zip for throttle...I guess all that low end torque is for real...just wish it wasn't pouring rain on the way home...oh well! The car is drop dead gorgeous IMHO I couldn't be happier with the color combo for my tastes and I just can't wait to see it in good daylight and sun! I'll arrange an "open shop" tentatively for Jan 3rd at 2PM at my Tacoma residence with details to come for those interested in a first hand look!

I've never been fond of that color nor the variations of the hue, but, wow, it sure looks good on your car.
Needs chrome wheels though...
Hey, at least I made a complete post without using the term "POP". Just sayin' When did paint colors start "Popping" anyway?

Phil, your showing your age, chrome does not belong on sports cars or race cars, and that car counts as both!
Congrats John! Have a great trip, and when you come back break her in nicely!

As for popping....check out the following. I'll be performing on a freeway off ramp near you through the Holidays?

And I agree, Chrome or Black Chrome on that beauty! That or the machined wheels.

People call you "sir" a lot
Buick salespeople run to greet you when you walk in the showroom
You remember who played the Lone Ranger on TV - black and white tv at that.
Hitting on young women usually results in a smile rather than a sexual harassment charge.
You still prefer a good single-malt scotch in lieu of Metamucil
The lifetime warranty on Craftsman tools really isn't that important anymore. Might as well shop at Harbor Freight
You remember "Cheater Slicks"
Poodle Girl looks up to you as a role model
You don't worry quite as much about Social Security going away like people your age do. Especially since you're still paying into it. Thank you very much by the way. It's people your age that provides me with the income to be able to afford chrome wheels.
"Real Sports cars" don't have power windows.

Looks gorgeous! Count me in on the home visit if it comes to fruition.

I was able to only back the car out of the garage before I had to leave for the airport and was able to snap a few daylight pic's....here's one below so that you can see the color contrast in daylight:

i am curious about one detail, the plastic looking strip lining the radius of the front wheel well, it looks like an after thought. Does anyone else notice that or is it just me?
