Anchorage Corvette owners....
Hey all,
Will be flying out to Anchorage towards the end of February for a couple of weeks. Wife likes the cold so I’m guessing it will be a good place to go! lol. Pretty sure we are there for the fur rendezvous.
We spend the 1st week in Anchorage before flying up to Fairbanks for a few days, returning on the train. Few more days in Anchorage before flying home to the UK.
I know it won’t be cruising weather so just looking for some ideas of places to go, things to see and do. Any recommendations for good places to eat?
If anyone fancies meeting up with a UK Vette owner for a few beers then we are up for that.

While you are in Fairbanks visit the Fountainhead Antique Car Museum, 212 Wedgewood Drive, Fairbanks, AK 99701
(907) 450-2100.
There are about 85 really nice cars displayed in a beautiful new building built for that purpose.

I grew up in Anchorage and took my wife up for Fur Rendezvous a couple years ago. One thing we both really enjoyed for the spectacle of it was the Outhouse Races (held on Saturday the 28th) in downtown. The link is below for the schedule of events. We also enjoyed the snow sculptures & the dog sled races they hold in town (Friday).

If you're up for a drive south of Anchorage, the Double Musky in Girdwood is an enjoyable restaurant and a nice drive, although sunset is around 6:20PM that week.
