Mike, no kidding? You really bought a Jensen Healy? What I find more surprising was that she was apparently attracted to the car. I didn't know those cars made it to 1973. I suspect, having been in the foreign car business a few times, that any left over 1970 J-H's still on the showroom floor became '73's on New Year's Eve. "For all acquaintance be forgot, save the Jensen Healey". I'll have to share the story about my friend Danger Boy and the fast dash thought the Snoqualmie valley in his J-H years ago. Without going into detail about how the mice ate through the seats and the soft top we found that if we drove fast enough, the Bondo flying off the hood - I guess the notion of trying to pound out dents hadn't been discovered yet - so we learned how to dodge those pieces merely by ducking under the dash. Funny thing is when DB bought the car he thought the bondo was moss since it was mostly green.

Make no mistake, I love my Corvette, but it simply doesn't provide me with the same sort of stories that DB's Jensen Healey did.

Mary is yelling at me know to go get pizza so I'll reserve my stories of my '49 Ford Record Runs and driving a Porsche 914 way too fast on ice for later. Maybe I'll tell you the tale of my driving a King Midget - remember those - to my last day of high school.

Ah...memories. You do realize that going from a Jensen-Healey to a ZR-1 does not speak well for your thoughtful approach to high performance driving.

Just saying'

Cracks me up...the article says 500 HP LS2* out of a Z06.

These magazine guys...

Although I like it. I thought 283 ci's in an Austin Healy Sprite was nuts.

Noticed that the TACH in the BRZ isn't working when the car is started up in the first vid, but it is in the 2nd. Cool swap, but why not just buy a Z06 at that point?

For now, I'll be sticking with my current ride. The buyer that was interested in my car decided to go with a used Ferrari.

He'll be back, provided he can unload the used Ferrari. Probably about the time of the first service.

Maybe not... Sometimes I think everyone who ever wanted a Ferrari should get one. Sorry, that's not me any longer.

I think I'm in a similar quandary but in no hurry to pull the trigger yet. Good luck!
Try a Mercedes SL63. TT 465 HP. I have an SL500 and have driven over 1200 mi. I'm one day no driver swap. Nothing beats how slick the retractable hardtop goes away and still have a large trunk

I'm still leaning towards an SL550. I bought a new E63 S AMG wagon last year and put a Renntech tune in it so I'm hoping if I do pick up an SL550 I won't start messing around under the hood.

If you are serious about the GT350, do some serious recon on it. There is 2 versions , the streetable but barely race car , that is 100% track ready and the street version. BUT there is a great deal of tweaks and options to take the street version exotic. I have seen both versions, the only thing stopping me from going all out is the cost and the ability to get on the list. Not connected and it won't happen. A dealer I know well has already got numerous large deposits on the race ones and the street ones, their will be allocations on both. I will be heading to the dark side. Hard to part with the vettes but I think the 350 will be fab and its value will hold better than a C7.!Owning both would be great but that won't happen.
The new Cayman with the 911 motor will be a killer. Better balance than 911 . Watch it beat em up at the track. Hard to believe it evolved from the "ladies" boxster. Would be my second choice to the Gt350.
