Default Nice Weather This Weekend

So is no one going to post that the weather is looking good this week end only to have it ignored or become a litney of excuses for not getting together?

Phil, would you please start is off?

Tomorrow my wife and I have a sitter and we're taking the new (to us) C4 LT4 out and about.

Of course I will, my friend. I have it on good authority that the weather is looking good this weekend. I checked the E@RTC website only to find what I expected; no event.

So, I guess that's it. Hey, I did my best....

BTW, what's a "litney" You constantly remind me that speling is not a requirement for an engineering degree.

If you'd like to come over, I still have 3 boxes of magazines that Red Racer couldn't get into his C6 (with chrome wheels). You do know how to get to the "House of Seven Cables" don't you?

So sorry, yes, litany....the sad part is I'd like to say I had to override spell check just to give you a laugh. I find that fabulously witty posts are often at the expense of grammar and spelling. Hey, at least I try.....what's your excuse?

House of Seven Gables? Doesn't exist that I know of. However, there is a rumor of a treasure-trove of single malt somewhere in Plateupia (doesn't have to be spelled correctly since you made it up) slowly being consumed by a frustrated English teacher.....or Nun. Sorry, not getting clear vision on this one....need to go take my Friday afternoon meds.

I think I'll take a drive somewhere tomorrow......you wanna lead us on a spirited tour around the casino parking lots?

Would that be autocross?

Hit almost 60 over here in the eastern burbs. Damn nice day. Still too much crap on the roads to get the car out. She's not a pickup!

Phil:

You going to break free from the "House of 7 Gables" this summer and come join us in Winthrop for our yearly get together on the east side?

Kind of you to ask. I do indeed hope to make it over there sometime this summer. A friend of mine has been after us to visit their vacation retreat.

Would be good to take a trip with the guys. Last time I went on a 3-hour cruise with a few of them - they know who they are - they tried to kill me.

Not Gables... Cables. It has to do with my friend Bob. The fellow you met at the party who owns the liquor store. He came up equipped with some Scotch, well past the 12 year pull date and helped me try and install my new video system. Despite our best effort and with careful attention to the provided instructions, we couldn't get it to operate with less than 7 cables.

Hence the name for our, ahem, estate here in Plateupia.

In my business, a "House of 7 Cables" would be a place that had LOT of internet.

It's sunny, the street sweeper has been busy the last couple weeks around our little town .. I have a feeling that at least East Wenatchee will see both my C4's this weekend.

First of all, I don't have a vacation retreat. Second of all, I know for a fact I'm your only "friend". Or as Mary puts it, enabler.

BTW wouldn't you agree that you'd have to traveling somewhere north of 5 MPH for us to have even the faintest shot at "killing you"?

That said, if you insist.....we'll gladly try again. What time you wanna meet at the XXX?

Mine needs a new battery before I can take her out again, have a dead cell. Looks like the original battery so cant complain about a 10+ yr old battery. Need to get the Odyssey AGM that Sears sells under their Diehard name. Have fun guys!

my power steering pump actually went out a couple days ago, so I'm using it as an excuse to finally remove my alternator bracket and make it not such an eye sore same with the alternator

I heard anyone who modded their LS9 could be at risk of grenading their engine due to increased boost and higher IAT's causing the intercooler bricks to fail. So I tore it down and of course "MY" bricks were perfect. Go figure. Sent the bricks off to be re engineered to handle the mods I've done and will have them back soon.
Having some powder coating done to parts under the hood and should be back on the road in a few weeks.
Pat (Mufflerbearing) told me not to do any mods... Go figure.

Okay, it's beautiful outside and I'm going to the shop to do some work on the boat. I promise to feel guilty about it though. I may even drive the c6AL.
