Default Autocross School

The Northwest Association of Corvette Clubs (NWACC) is hosting our second Autocross Novice School on Saturday May 16th at Sanderson Field in Shelton.

If you ever thought about trying autocross with your Corvette (or other sports car, or GT car) we still have some openings left. The Saturday school is designed to teach you the basics of autocross and the registration price also includes entry on Sunday the 17th to the 1st NWACC autocross event of the season where you can try out your new skills!!

If you're interested or have any questions, just send me a PM or an email thru the CF system.

Cost? Safety requirements? (helmet, fire extinguisher?...) Length of time to get through the course?

Just curious...

All you need is your car. You definitely do NOT need a fire extinguisher. If you don't have a SNELL approved helmet, you can borrow one from the school. I believe the track opens at 7 AM, and school starts at 9 AM. The school ends at 3 PM. The cost is $80.00 but that includes a full day autocross on Sunday, May 17th for FREE, and that is normally $50.00. So the real cost of the school and all the training is $20.00!

Registration deadline is April 30th.

Bring that waxer out on the 17th of May and give it a workout. Nothing needed except a helmet if you have one and some cash. See sign up sheet at previous link provided or sign up day of.
