I have never understood the negative comments about the C4 from the Corvette community. I owned two C4 convertibles between 1998 and 2005 and they were incredible vehicles for their time. True, they cannot and should not be compared to current technology, but for their time they were the top-line technology.

- Nice looking C4's you had. I'm more than thrilled with our 96' LT4 as a first Vette. With it's modifications, and just over 400hp at the crank and barely 98k it's plenty of fun and should last for a long time to come.

Couldn't agree more with both of you. At the time, I really enjoyed my 1995 Coupe I had in Admiral Blue.

I really liked my two c-3's...great cars, wished i still had both of them. When I got my 95 LT-1...BLK on BLk I fell in love. The c-4's have the small cockpit which is so cool...The C-5's,6's and 7's are great cars but however paying all that $$$$$ for Camaro tail lights...If I was going to invest in another vette and spend that kind of money it would be a nice 69 big block for sure...

Having grown up with Car & Driver (Mother In-Law still gets me a sub every Xmas) I've always dug the C4's.....Just wish more people would take care of theirs, I see way too many ratty looking ones. They had great performance for the day.....

Agreed. I think some people just don't take care of their cars. I was taught to have pride in and take care of things and make them last.... Hence my 93' Ranger - all original (minus wear and tear parts), including the paint job. It's my daily driver, but that's no excuse to "let it go".

I know it's just a another 95-LT-1...one of many made,It's paid for with good miles.I have always changed oil at 3000 miles never ever drive it in the rain.I have always used AC-Delco parts when needed,I drive it real easy...There are to many ''distracted''drivers where i am located.I may get a newer one one of these day's...I have always liked the Z06-FRC...The back windows look so cool...

C-4's most definitely do not suck. I wish I still had my Polo Grn. 96.
It was a joy to drive.

Well, this was kinda fun....though I'm only 20 minutes into it. Was interesting to see some of what turned out to be big names in Motorsports.
Gee, Caitlyn was a pretty little girl even then.

Thanks for sharing Ken.....how's the new paint job and did you consider a wrap?

And oh, BTW I loved my '85

I LOVE my 02Z and Ken's C7, but we have always commented that the C4 has the best lines of all Corvettes. Each new generation has so many upgrades and handle better, but I loved my 1995. I see lots of C4s at shows and glad they are being appreciated!!
