It may not be for a while, but I will be back. In the meantime, I have a lot of old car magazines to keep me busy.

No offense taken, Mike. Considering some of the things my wife calls me, I consider it as a compliment.

Not a bad idea about me and Joe shopping. Maybe between the two of us we'll be able to afford one.

Actually, I'm leaning toward finding a gently used black 2010 or 2011 GS sometime next spring. Time for something different.... Chrome wheels and silver hash marks. I'm thinking 6 speed manual this time.

Can't wait...

I actually bought a new '83 Z28 from Glen Grant Chevy in Burien that was black and do remember how much time I spent cleaning it. It had those white letter outline sidewall tires and used plenty of cleanser keeping them white. Whew....getting tired remembering how much work that was!

I also remember when I'd completed the purchase, Mr. Grant came out of his office and personally thanked me for buying a car from his dealership.

If that is truly what you are looking for Joe, Auburn Chev has exactly that .... Under 11000 miles on a triple black one owner 2011 GS loaded GM silver hash marks, chrome wheels and 6 speed

Would that be the car your wife had? If so, I already know what a beautiful car it is. And that's what inspired me to have one like that for my next Vette....

Hope I can find one like it next spring/summer.

RTC is on this weekend. Does the Z07 finally make it's debut?

I'm in! What time should we arrive? I haven't been to E@RTC since last summer.

Walter, don't respond to this the way I anticipate you will. I'm not talking about anything inflatable.
What way is that Phil? All I was thinking was that I'm down with your Nordstrom's comment...as the Bellevue Square Nordstroms has a bar!
I've been known to "shop" all day on occasion.

Hey Fred, have you considered a Poodle?

Phil, a Poodle is a dog. In fact they are water retrievers originating in Germany....not France. Germany and France are countries on the other side of the globe...but I'll explain all that to you later. Poodles are typically NOT B actresses in pink spandex that you so idolize and keep referring to.

The image I have of you spending an entire day in Nordstrom's explains why they have more security there now than we had around the "Green Zone" in Baghdad.

Why in the world would you drink in a bar at Nordstrom's? It's a clothing store. Did someone tell you they serve Johnny Walker "plaid" or something?

Ahhh, my former erudite part-time friend, you seem to forget I have had two poodles back in the day before my sex change and hernia transplant. I also spent my high school weekends working at a kennel where they bred poodles (please don't make anything of that or the moderator will excommunicate you again from the forum).

I have come to think of poodles as little more that yapping and twirling little poop machines. Why don't you bring yours over to Aaron's next time he and Jen host a BBQ? It's only fair that those beautiful Dobies get a snack too.

Just sayin' BTW, aren't you at work today, or is it safe to fly again?

Fred and Connie with a poodle? It's 90 degrees up here in Plateaupia. I doubt that hell is going to freeze over anytime soon.

you're at Nordstrom's again, aren't you?

Or both... at least on a trial basis. Get in touch with Jet Ninja. I'm sure he can arrange a trial session. Maybe we can borrow Walter's ah, dog.

Ask, him. I presume you have the phone number of the bar in Nordstrom's.

If not, you can have Mary's cat, Roswell.
