Default SCCA Low Cost Track Night.

Yes I have been an SCCA member for 30 years and yes they are a stuffy, clubby, rule laden bunch of safety freaks but in all of my years of racing I only was witness to two fatalities and sad as they were there could have been many more if not for the persistent striving for safety of the SCCA. Pay attention NASCAR we chatted with you clowns in the early 90's and you had no use for the Hans Device and look what happened.... Just saying.

Here is a link to what looks like a fun way to take your ride out and have some fun on the cheap.

I have done 3 so far. 2x at PIR with run/work and 1x at The Ridge. Weekday evening makes it easy to get most of a day in at work so not taking a vacation day, and not giving up a full weekend day with the family. 3 run groups seems to be a nice balance of enough driving to make it worth it, and significant investment in tires/brake wear.

If you get on mailing list they regularly send out $25 off coupons.
