Default Mounting tires in Portland area (+Wheel repair)

Hi folks,

I have been out of this forum or a while so feel a little weird posting. ope all of you are still enjoying your vette.

It's time for new tires and I have taken my car to Skip's Wheelwerks the last several years. However when I called them just now, looks like they are having family troubles and its only skip who works there and they keep their gates closed etc etc. Felt weird when I called them.

So, are there any other recommended shops for mounting new tires and possibly also repairing a bent wheel?

Thanks,
Titus

I will check when I get to work today and find out who we use to fix wheels on our vehicles, and will let you know. As far as mounting tires I used Les Schawb on my last ones with no problems.

Last year I ordered tires from Tire Rack and they had a list of recommended installers for their tires. They directed me to a local Goodyear store. Prior to last year I had used Discount Tire and never had any troubles with other cars, several with custom wheels. Les Schwab has also worked out well for me over the last 40 years.

I purchased new Bridgestones from Costco a while back. Great price and the guys were super careful. I give them a full 5 stars and would recommend them to everyone. They blew all the major stores away with the price. Great tires too.

They have done several wheels for me and great quality and customer service. Also, for install, we use Garth at AnT tire on Interstate near PIR. Haave had tires shipped direct to them.

Just took a wheel/tire in to repair some curb rash. I'll post back what I see when I get it back.
