Where's a good place to get my windows tinted???
Does anyone use a specific place that they like? Experiences? Recommendations? It's one of the few things that I DON'T do myself, and I want to find a reputable shop, preferably in the Snohomish county area, but Seattle, and surrounding areas are not too far for a known quantity. Thanks in advance!

I had Prestige Window Tinting in Lynnwood tint our pickup last year. Did a real good job and was reasonable. I did talk to them about doing the C6, they said no trouble.

look at the shape of your hatch glass, the curvature and design ... imagine trying to trace that and cut tint to the right shape. next, climb into the back of your hatch and imagine trying to apply the tint back there. now add in the ****** dot matrix design that you have to get it to stick to... : )
I watched my buddy tint my car. I don't envy the job. if I was a tinter I'd probably just turn down jobs to do vettes.

I used Prestige in Lynnwood also and he did a really good job. To get a good job in the hatch, it is much more labor intensive to do in one piece since it has to be shrunk around all the curves. Finished product looks awesome though. My tint's been on over 7 years and still looks good from them.

It is costly to do Vette coupes. Get the best film they offer. Cheaper films the glue clouds the view. It will be wore with all the work on a rear coupe window.

The Dark Side in Lake City (206 399 0000 Cell or 206 367 7157 Shop) Carlos has been doing mine, friends and family for years. And very reasonably priced...his brother does windows in Bellevue at almost twice the price.

Ok, another question. For those of you that responded, what did the respective shop do for the dot matrix at the top of your hatch glass??? If I'm gonna pay serious money (enough to buy a cam) on window tint!? I'm going to require it to be absolutely perfect.

Elite tinted the entire window and told me if it didn't look good after it fully dried to bring it back and they'd cut it out and paint it black for $50. It looks ok but I'm going to have it painted in the spring.
