We kicked around a lot of idea's but decided participants choice for the class awards was the simplest way to go. Had one good idea come in late that might be tried next year. That is to have one class of folks judge another class. For example have the C6 folks judge the C2 cars, etc. Still only the participants involved with judging. Should have a boat load of raffle items. Bring that 1 of 9 C6 out and let the rest of us look at it.
Sent you a PM.

FYI
There are 26 cars pre-registered as of today. So if you still would like to lock in one of those preferred parking spots get those registrations in.

Even if you don't care about the parking nothing stops you from pre-registration.

Thanks for the support so far.

Hi Mike..
Any chance the guy who takes pictures of your car and then makes a fake magazine cover on a poster board is going to be there. We need two more

Thanks,
Mike and Sue

Why would you possibly want with two "fake magazine" covers of Ammo's car?

Was great to see you and Susie this morning at the "gathering of the software developers" at RTC. What's up with the new layout?

I'm speechless Phil. No comeback at all... Sucks to be off the hooch.

Always great seeing you as well. That setup was weird. Sue's full meal deal Z07 was not invited to park in any of the main rows, even though there were open spaces and many rows had mixed vehicles elsewhere. Not sure anymore what the process is.

Honestly, the young man and young woman assigning parking spots when we arrived that day didn't appear to have a clue about cars other than being able to read the name on the vehicle

I guess the few "stanced" E46 M3s were more "exotic" to them than a Z07.

*disclaimer, M3/4s are great cars (in fact I became friends with a very nice lady who owns an M4 over the weekend), just not when they're "stanced out".

Sorry Mike, have not been following this tread as I should lately.

I've not seen this done, and the host has not mentioned it to me, so unless the guy just decides to show up........

Love this disclaimer. Have you considered running for office? Wonderful stuff.

Hi Duckvette, as I said Long Time. Glad to see you are still enjoying your Vette.

Do you remember this now?

Default XXX Show

Really enjoyed your show a few years back. Great place to have it, back in time a bit, like when we use to cruise the hot spots on the weekends, if you remember back in the day,

I see you were asking for suggestions, mostly on the judging I guess but I have my 2 cents.

1. Have a couple awards 1, 2, etc. for best presentations or theme of all the vettes there. Something a little different with no classes. Like if they have an unusual way of presenting their car, like everything matches, information about the car, history of vettes expressed.

2. Everyone is always trying to come up with a personalized plate. You could have a couple awards for a couple of Best Plates. Again something different anyone could win.

I realize these suggestions are a little late to the game this year. Maybe something for the future.

Hope to be there again this year, was one of my favorite shows and sites to have one.

I did invite the photographer to come back this year, but I have not heard anything from him. It's still early, so he may be there. I just don't know for sure.

What day is the show? Depending on the date, I might go and do photography.

Well done presentations. Good way to promote interest in the club and Corvettes. Been thinking about something like this for our club events and in general about Corvettes. I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!! Good music too.

Doubt if I'm giving away any secret info so this is where we are as of the 29th. Keep in mind we have a team of several people handling different things so I'm just sharing data here. While we may have 35 parking slots set aside for the first 35 entry's that doesn't mean you cant still pre-register. FYI, we never promised to confirm your entry but this should help. Have a great weekend.
