Shuttle Service?
Say, here's an idea...
Just throwing this out for consideration.
How about a shuttle service (via the transit company) to run people down Gilman and Front streets to the various restaurants and bars and the shopping areas, especially say Gilman Village. For that matter The Highlands Village has a nice shopping area. I realize this may be counter to Jose's purpose of contributing to some fine charities, but not everyone wants to eat a 1200 calorie burger and root beer floats. Except me, maybe.
Just a thought. In fact I thought there was a free shuttle service in Issaquah. Other than the red C6 that ferries me back and forth to Bev Mo'

Looks like 20% or less chance of rain now and improving.
Good ideas Phil.
CMCS ran an event every two years called the SOS, Seattle in September. It lasted several years then attendance dropped off. It was primarily for our club with invites to all other NW clubs who always participated pretty well until the attendance overall started to drop. We had folks coming in from all over the NW. This was a Friday to Sunday affair and we had plenty of side trips and events. We did the poker run rally's, valve cover racing, midnite car cruise around Seattle, a banquet and car show. Was fun but a lot of work and mostly by the same folks every two years. We always encourge new corvette owners to join the club and appreciate new ideas, come try us out, lots of changes over the past 4 or 5 years.
We will be doing an NWACC autocross on Sat in Packwood then the Car Show on Sunday, see ya there.
Be sure to purchase some 50/50 tickets, supporting deployed troops with proceeds on this one. I'll be the one selling those tickets.

The All Corvette Show held at the Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive-In each August has always been a huge show, most years getting over 120 cars to show up and show off. Some cars come from miles away and make a weekend of it.
We are looking to improve this show and are looking for ideas.
The Car Show committee is starting to look at the process for next year and would like to hear from those who participate. Specifically looking for ideas on how to judge the show. Here is your chance to make an input if you have an idea please share it.
In the past it has been a participation judged show, meaning if you had a car in the show you got to vote. Would you like to see this changed to a panel of judges? Do you know a better way? How about a panel of judges made up from other Northwest Clubs that would be willing to provide a judge?
What about awards, too many trophies, too few, what about the categories, are they appropriate?
Not looking to start a huge debate on this but if you have ideas please PM them to me and I'll get them to the right folks.
Thanks
Mike

Of course there is a category for you. It's called C6! Come on down and show it off.

What a great show! Seemed to be run efficiently and plenty of variety too. It was my first time there.
I heard there were 130 cars (?), can you post how many were in each class?
And also just for fun, the average participant age?

If anyone would like to be part of the team hosting the event next year let me know and I will put you in touch with the CMCS host for the 2017 XXX All Corvette Car Show.
