Default Anybody Local Have Radioflyer's ACA headlights on their C5

I'm asking because he just put them on sale....and I placed an order.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1591489650

I'm wondering if there is anybody local that already has them that would like to help me install them after I get them.

Lunch would be on me. (at the very least)

Damn vendors and their sales.

Listen pick up the airline ticket a couple of nights in a hotel and meals and I am on my way.

You will not be disappointed with these lights and the install is pretty straight forward.

Best of luck but you won't need it. No problem.

Good one.

I just get frustrated quickly and don't have the best tools, although I end up buying them "after the fact" and then never need them again. LOL

Right on.

I remember now, seeing the photo of your Blue Z06 after you installed them.

I'm not sure if the kit still has to be built after the group buy, but I will be in touch.

While I don't have RF's lights, I do have Corvette Mods ACA Reps Projectors with 55w Hids on mine (best upgrade ever over those stupid 70's era stock lights) and it was pretty easy, Hardest thing (and it wasn't hard) was breaking off some raised tabs on the stock base unit to make room for the new projectos. I also upgraded the stock shaft with lock washer they rotate on with a proper bolt and locknut.

Just got started cleaning up after the the CHP Meet and found your post. I bought the Radio Flyer's Bi-Xenon system a couple years ago and had no trouble at all doing the install. Attached is a fairly new version of the ACA install guide that may be of some help.

One thing you should do is to clean the gears for the headlamp aiming shafts. These can get corroded after time and if they break, it won't be fun to replace them. You can use something like a dielectric grease on the gears so that they will turn easily if you need to adjust the lamps.
