Default trackspec hood vent install, and newly tinted windows!

I got my Trackspec T1 louver panels in the mail on Friday, so I got out in the shop at 4 am, and started cuttin' holes out of the hood...for a good cause, of course. I positioned the vents to my own liking (the instructions have the center vent much higher), and went to town with a drill, and cut off wheel. Had to take a couple breathers to let it sink in, what it was that I was doing to my car haha! But hey, it turned out and you can see my Callaway intake right under the vent

I also took the advice of a CF member, and got my windows tinted Friday night. 35% sides, and 25% rear, and I can't believe I waited this long.

All in all, a good start to the day, working on my favorite obsession.

Default good job

great work erik, that really improves the appearance of your machine. that is the kind of job where once you start, there is no reversing your decision. but it came out really well.

Thank you! My dad was driving it behind me the other day, so I finally got a good look at it in action, and between those really bright LED DRL's from Radioflyer, the vents, and now the splitter, it looked like it was gonna mow me down

Great Job Eric, ty for the pictures and way you installed those vents. I bet its hard to do that first cut, but after that
"Here Goes" I can't wait to get them and install them
I have a question, what effects are caused if your caught in the rain. My car is a daily drive car? Ty Eric. Rick

Woooo, back from the dead here!

I have never had any problem with water. I usually wash it with a pressure washer, and then go air dry it with a drive roght after, so water has apparently no effect.

I did see lower temps in general, but I also run coolers for the trans, and the diff. It helps under hood temps tremendously.

Default Hood vents and two other hood vents

Hello Eric, ty for responding to my question. I really.like the three hood vents, but I'm worried if I was caught in the rain traveling for a vacation would the rain mess up my motor. Ty for sharing your time and knowledge with me. Rick
