Default GTG - Portland

I am having a Get Together \ Tech Day at my house in NW Portland this Saturday. I have a 4-Post Lift so we are going to hang out, assist people with their little projects, drink eat and hang out. You are all invited.

There is a cruise going to my house with a bunch of Vettes. If you want to go with the group, meet at Jim Bacons Tire Shop in Beaverton (11070 SW Canyon Road Beaverton) at 9:30am.

Please PM for my address if you want to go on your own.

Here are some pics from the last GTG.

AWSOME, and uggg at the same time.
I'm down south in Indio California sitting on our back deck looking at green grass, butterfly's, hummingbirds, and lots of sun.
I'll be back to the Northwest mid May.

I'm glad I'm here but sad I am missing the gathering. Thank you for the GREAT invitation Jack.

Only one response? The Portland area sucks for Corvette people. I should move to Seattle.

Hi Jack (is that a dangerous thing to say on an airplane?)

We're going to try to make it tomorrow, at least for a little bit to say hi.

(although it probably won't be with the rest of the MHC gang as it all depends how Vik is feeling tomorrow)

Sorry that I just ran across this today. I have been looking for a group that gets together that are more into the tech aspect of their Corvettes. I ended up going to the cars and coffee in Wilsonville on Saturday.

How was the turnout?

We are with Mt Hood Corvettes that meet at Stark St Pizza the 2nd Thurs of the month We are a very active group. I am even a volunteer at World of Speed where the C&C meets. ( when I recover from this Chemotherapy) In summer we do something almost every weekend (cruises, carshows, tech time, etc,) check us out at MtHoodcorvettes.com

I've been meaning to check the club out. I went to another club and wasn't impressed.

Do you go to the historic races at PIR as a club? Or to the Beaches cruise-in at PIR?

Every August, we are one of the featured clubs at Beaches PIR, yup

(we personally don't do the Historic Races but we do have members who do)

Sorry missed it. I was in Az. Let me know when you are doing it again. I have a suspicious wet spot on the bottom of my 66 that I cannot figure where leak is coming from
