I was hoping to get a second LeMans car in the shipment today so I could wear one on each foot. I'd look really silly showing up with a different Corvette on each foot, don't you think? I do have some standards of behavior you know?

Actually I may not be at RTC on Saturday. We're trying to get the Merlin back in the boat now that we've been allowed a free test day in Tri-Cities.

Besides, I often feel a little bit uncomfortable at RTC watching people who are far wealthier than me, enjoy themselves just as I would if I had their money. I may show if Poodle Girl got his pink skirt back from the dry cleaners. Not to mention that the C6 Aero Lightweight (one of 42) isn't very presentable right now. With the assistance of the people who organize the Bonneville Salt Flats event every year, we've been conducting some studies to see if the Aero configuration really makes a difference during high speed runs. Results so far have been inconclusive, but we may try tufts of yarn next in lieu of the Kitty Litter dust that accumulates in my garage whenever I change Roswell's litter box. I know it sounds strange, but the guys at the hydro shop repainted the Miss Burien during the filming of the movie, "Madison" as Miss Cat's Pride so I'm trying to coattail on that relationship to pay my bus fare back and forth to Wendover.
