Just as a side note, from the PIR Bracket Racing website:

ET Bracket Racing 101.

In an effort to bring some new blood into the sport on Wednesday nights (High School Bracket in particular), Pro Bracket racer Brad Tucker has come up with an excellent idea: host some handicap racing clinics during the Friday night street legal drags. Of course this wouldn’t be limited to just high school students, but will be open to anyone – young or old who would like to take the next step from just going down the track to actual racing competition on Wednesday nights. The first of these seminars will take place this Friday (6-24), with two or three more planned for the season. If you know of anybody who might be interested, please encourage them to be at PIR this Friday night.

Just trying to further get the word out. If you, or if you know of anybody who you think might be interested, let 'em know!

Now, if I could get a ride with Fittipaldi I'd pay $30 but not with a local driver. You can get rides for free at most any track day. I've given them for free to first timers before.

The proceeds from the rides goes to the group Friends of PIR which is definitely a good thing for those of us who use the facility.

Note to Portland area race fans, plan on being out at PIR July 2 - 3. More cool stuff and more cool stuff that is FREE to watch!!

There was a group of Corvettes that arrived around 11:30 am.

Here's a few shots a took with my phone. I video recorded some of the cars on the track.
