Default early morning photo shoot

I got up at 3:15AM for some of these shots I desperately need a tripod for low light, and it wouldn't hurt to play with the ISO settings a little more, so don't judge too harshly They finished this bridge in North Everett some time back, and I never realized that they did such interesting lighting on it when they did! Coming back with a tripod one day

Great shots. I think those bridge lights also have a green sequence they rotate through as well unless it's that first pic. Those wheels really set off your car. Nice choice.

Weather permitting I am planning on attending that car show in the banner next Sunday. I did the first one they had a few years back.

It's fun to play around with cameras. After all, there are typically so many adjustments and other effects you may as well play around with them.

You got some pretty good shots too. Hope you wrote down the settings so you can remember what you were doing at the time.

The car looks pretty good, BTW

That looks like a good photography location, but I take it that it's a public street that usually has lots of traffic hence you had to get up extremely early to get those shots?

Nice shots. Look at Amazon for the tripod. Picked up a portable one there for pretty reasonable and it comes with a nice carrying case.

Nice shots, Erik! The side shot of your car in the parking garage looks great - the silver and concrete are a good blend of complimentary colors. The new wheels look good too.

Thank you all I have always been particular to city-scapes for my car photography. If anyone ever wants to get together to have me shoot their car, or do a tandem shoot with two or more cars, I'm always interested Alki is GREAT this time of year!

Sounds good. I also wanted to ask you which product you recommend (like plasti-dip) to paint my silver winter wheels black? I don't think I want to do them permanently but would like to do it to see how they look. Are all the products flat black? I've been looking at the dupli-color and it comes in two shades: matte black metallic and matte carbon black. Any experience with these?

Yeah, don't use Dupli-Color, it really sucks it is not color fast at all. Look on thr DYC website, they have an absolutely amazing selection! And many in spray cans. www.Dipyourcar.com
I do wheels too

I can attest to the Dupli-Color product. Terrible adhesion properties. Wasted a whole weekend coating a grill only to have it lift and peel off inside of a month.

Shots look great. Bridge and parking garage in particular. My best shots have been inside parking garages. Can be hard to find clean empty ones though or garages where security doesn't chase you out.
