Default Need shop recommendations for a harmonic balancer replacement

My 2007 Coupe has a wobbling harmonic balancer that is starting to make noise.
I normally do all my own maintenance but this is to much for me.

Can anyone recommend a good shop to have this done.
I live in Snohomish and purchased at Speedway Chevy but if anyone knows a good trustworthy shop - dealer or private shop I would appreciate reccomendations.

I understand from research this usually costs about a $1000, has this been your experience also?

Thanks for your time,
Tim

Default balancer

i have not done the balancer thing yet, but have researched it just to get acquainted with the job and would say your estimates are about right what i found. as far as a mechanic around town, i have had work done on my vette at mikes automotive in marysville and since their reputation is fairly extensive, it might be worth your time to take it in there, just to find out. otherwise i would refer you Erik here on the forum, works at boeing and does a lot a lot of work on his vette, and could possibly lead you in the right direction.
hope this helps.

I can fully recommend to you Brads Custom Auto. They are in lake city and specialize is vettes & mustangs. They have been taking care of my vettes for the past 10 years. I've sent a number of folks there. The really nice thing is that many of their mechanics race and they are meticulous in what they do.

I took mine to the dealer, they told me you have to use special pullers and drop the front end?
