NEW! Vortex lip installed, and lowered...more :o
Another 4AM start time, working on the car Oh well, it pays off to be an insomniac So I got my new Vortex lip from Corvette Creationz; they are a CF vendor (like almost everything I buy for the Vette) and they are top notch man well packaged, understanding, reachable, and maybe best of all, CHEAP The splitter is pretty straight forward to install, but it did help having all the bolt-on hardware from my old lip already installed in the bumper. Still, with a little body work, and plasti dip, it still took me 3 hours to do it.
While I was in there, I also did the winter oil change, and cut the bushings off my front bolts! As you can see, the front is now much lower than the rear, and before I started, the front gap was notably higher than the rear. I got wore out before I got to the rears, but it'll get done eventually.
The look has really been missing a front lip, and I'm very glad to add that back to the equation
