Hello Guys,

I am new to the area and I just purchased 06 vert corvette. I am located in Puyallup and where do you guys take your cars for a nice drive around here?

I haven't bought mine yet,
currently driving a 15 Hellcat Challenger six speed,
But I go to Pacific raceways, the Ridge motorsports park, Spokane Raceway, Oregon Raceway park and Portland international.
When I want to take a nice drive. Lots of Corvettes out there having a good time too.

Some of us take nice Sunday cruises like today when a couple of us longtime forum members took our wives to Sunday brunch at the Anthony's in Anacortes. We drove up from Tacoma and met them in Mill Creek. From there a very nice drive up I-5 to Hwy 20 on over into Anacortes.

It was a Blue Corvette kinda day.

CG if you take an evening or two to scan back over say the past 50 pages of posts here on this part of the forum you'll get good picture of the types of places and drives available.

Probably half the people on the PNW section belong to clubs and half do not. So there are number of clubs around if you enjoy the clubs. Also there are a number of get togethers that take place that are posted here on the forum that don't have anything to do with the clubs.

Best overall drive in this area (IMHO) is called the North Cascade Loop. About an 8 hour drive can be done in one day or two if you like to stop and see the sights. Still time to do it this year as I don't think that there's been any snow in the passes and traffic should be lower now that summer is over.

+1 on the North Cascades Loop. The road, the scenery, the curves, it's my favorite drive in the state.

my husband and I both have Vettes. His is a 2014 and I have an '02Z. We belong to Mt Hood Corvettes out of Portland and also to Willamette Valley Corvettes out of Salem. I seems that the WA people are much more active than OR. MHCC went on a "drive" last weekend . Lots of fun. We all have CB radios so talk and joke along the way. We have been members for about 8yrs and highly recommend joining an "active" club.

A track would be best. Pacific Raceways does scare the crap out of me though! If you're talking about a good cruise, that North Cascade Hwy (Hwy 20) is unbeatable! I've taken a day off of work a couple times and ran to Winthrop and back, which takes a day. It's SO fun and beautiful. You could also go to Lake Chelan from there which is an awesome spot you should check out.
I recently went to this map store at the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood and they had two different maps that are just for fun and scenic roads. I'll find them and show you specifically what maps they are and maybe you can buy them.
I'd start with Hwy 20 though. Its awesome.

My Corvette is at my Girl Friend house in her garage since I left it there after our last vacation up the coast from So Cal. I am in the process of relocating from So Cal. But it doesn't sit idle in her garage. She takes it out and drives it with the top down. She is a total gear head.
