Default Return of the art car C5 project!

So today I plasti dipped the entire rear bumper of the Vette with matte clear, so that I can start drawing out the car again, in Sharpie art I think I'm going to leave the car shiny all over, but just draw out the rear bumper this time. Plus, the people next door moved out, and a single older lady moved in, so I'm not worried about another peeling incident this time I will make a thread on this, and post it in the C5 General page if you want to follow me there

Happy winter modding folks

Looking forward to following this one Erik.

Are you going to draw out the rear bumper on paper at all before you begin?

I will likely draw a few things out on paper before I apply them to the car, but probably just to work out how I'm going to add them to ths crazy mash up of filler art, between larger pieces. Drawing like this, it's really easy to lose shapes in the maze of random filler stuff, so sometimes you gotta have an exit strategy

I've been putting in a little over time on this project thought I would share what I've got so far. Back in July, I pulled a car length on an RS5, which is probably my highest profile kill yet!....I'm not above a liiiiittle bragging

...you gotta remember, I'm only in my 20's I don't know um all from way back haha! I've been pulling inspiration from Von Dutch, and other pin striping artists from the 50's

I would prefer to have invented a machine that people could use and that would help farmers with their work - for example a lawnmower.

Well, the dude that invented the lawnmower wouldn't make sense for this concept, and hasn't influenced my life enough to make it on the short list, so...Von Dutch it is.

First thing here, I'm not drawing pictures of any creepy old dudes on my car, I think that should go without saying. Secondly, the ak47 in cards is a kick back to me, not the guy that invented the thing. My name is Erik, and it's spelled with a K, so people tend to just call me AK because I always make the effort to point out the K, and that has evolved into ak47 with the people I work with. It's a clever way to put my signature on it. I might put the hammer and sickle on there again, but that is as Russian as it's gonna get.

Art.

It's all fun and games until someone ends up with their ear cut off.

<There I go again with the cryptic reference to creepy old dead guy.>

Seriously though, I love your art car and don't mean to introduce any negativity in any way. Sorry if my discussion was a turd in the punchbowl.
