C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Got the whole fleet out today
With a break in the rain today I took the 04 out to discount tire for new shoes and then a nice run to rub them in a little while the raods are dry. I get back and the 95 is just sitting there you know saying; hey how bout driving a real sports car ... so I did that too

Sweet! I've never driven a C4. Are you able to explain the differences in how each car drives?
Would you be able to pick one if it came down to it?
I'd like to try a C4 sometime just to see what they're like.

Good for you in taking advantage of the nice day. I was stuck in continuing education from 8am - 5pm...

Decisions decisions... I still love your C4. Can;t say that about many of them, but the color, the chrome wheels and the care I know it's received will make a nice car for the next buyer. (Don't think I haven't thought about it myself from time to time - usually after a couple of single malts. According the the article I sent you earlier, it would appear I'm almost a perfect candidate.

The C5 is quicker and the brakes are a lot better, the suspension is a little better not that much in my view but I don't race my cars. The car is more sophisticated in every way ... which would be natural. My wife prefers the C5 over the C4 for longer drives because the creature comforts are better.
But the C4 is just more fun to drive overall. You're not as isolated from the road. You feel the steering more. To me it drives more like a slot car. You sit lower in the cockpit (which BTW took it's design inspiration in part from the F4 Phantom) it seems to wrap around you more than the C5 or C6. You feel more a part of the car.
I think that a C4 is more of a sports car while a C5 or C6 is more of (what we used to call back in the 80's) a personal luxury car.
I'm really glad that I was able to keep the C4 after I got the C5. If I could only keep one of them it would be the C4. Perhaps a better way to say it is that I would miss the C4 more than I would miss the C5.
