Need Help With C6 Solid Roof Repair
I've got a "Damaged in Transit" (FedEx) 2006 C6 Solid Roof that needs to be "Re-Glued" = Black "painted" panel (not the new SMC) rebonded to the plastic roof frame support. It is not going to be covered under the recent GM Recall so I'm going to attempt to repair it by regluing it.
What Epoxy/Catylist do you recommend to ensure a good solid bond that won't separate again?
I appreciate any help you can provide as to the best one to obtain from my Auto Body Supplier? 3M Product?
Please PM or email me at: lewisdonnm@aol.com
Thanks! Donn

Dealer's Body Shop Hasn't Helped
Great suggestions but not sure GM will fix it since it didn't come from my C6? Also did check with my local GM Corvette Body Shop and their verdict was "DON'T FIX IT! Get an SMC top instead".
I don't really want to purchase a new SMC top and transfer hardware, weatherstrips, etc. IF this one can be fixed. It is black underneath so it IS the "polycarbonate top material".
Appreciate any advise from a sage GM Bodyman or GM Parts expert.
Thanks to ALL who took their time to try and help a fellow C6 guy!
