questions painting MRII under-hood on a c5
I'd like to paint some of the various plastic items...and am willing to experiment a bit, but have no idea where to find the proper materials to get the best match. Does anyone have advice for a painting noob? I have used an airbrush before, but it's been a while. 
I've been told that this color is a metallic base (gold?) with a red tinted clear coat. Is this correct? What are my options, and where's a good place to look for supplies? Thanks in advance.

Yes. MR is a 3 stage paint. Go to your local paint supply store and price out the material. You'll need a detail gun to paint the under hood parts, an airbrush won't cut it.
