What is the best chemical to clean off bare fibreglass on a 68 before priming? Also, I read in some of the other posts when bead blasting not to do under the hood or deck lid. Why is that? Can you bead blast firewall and inner fenders? Thanks

there is very little resin on the surface of the hood ,deck lid and trunk on the underside. if you blast you must be extra careful here. same with firewall and inner fenders. on undersides i use 2k primer after epoxy as it is very easy to sand. i clean the glass with hot water and dawn soap then with waterbase wax and greases remover.
