Default I need some sanding advice-please

I gel coated my 61 vette last summer with Ecklers gel coat and I just finished block sanding it with 80 grit. Next I am going to put on two coats of Slicksand primer filler, and I will start block sanding to get the body straight. My question is what grit sandpaper should I use to block sand the primer filler so that when I recoat it with more primer filler it will stick to the previous coats of primer filler, and do I sand it wet or dry. Thanks, Bob

I would use 180 grit paper.(dry sand) It will cut down the material fairly quick, and provide a good base for the next coat.

Make sure you sand it well. The wax-like residue is a bi*ch and if you don't get it off, your following coats will not adhere.
Good luck!
