I'm in the process of restoring a set of C5 thin spoke wheels. I've finished the process of stripping shining the base aluminum and am looking for suggestions for the best clear coat. Thanks!

I usually send them out to have them clear powered coated. I ...personally/professionally would not clear coat over shiny polished aluminum. Aluminum usually requires a specific adhesion promoter or prepping agent to make the paint stick...which effects the look of polished aluminum. AND knowing this...is why I won't do it because ...a problem with peeling or flaking would occur and then person would want me to warranty it.
