Default Picture needed of tunnel

Can someone post a picture of the tunnel for a 1965 convertible with power windows. I think the hole I have is another bubba .

Here is the picture of mine with the repair I have done so far for the hole next to the shifter.

Thanks Darrell. I am assuming that having power windows doesn't make any difference

Pierre,
The harness for the power windows should be above the floor panel. I'm not sure why they cut a hole there. Mine has crank, sorry, I can't help much.

After checking in the assembly manual( which should have been first), it does show a 3.09"x1.69" hole and a pocket shield for the power window switches. Yours was a retrofit maybe ?

NO...his is a NON-power window car.

The math is quite simple to figure out....and if the hole is shown in the manual...then a hole is needed along with the rubber boot to keep air from blowing in and effecting the switch connections.

If the boot is not available...there are numerous ways to get around it unless you are going for PERFECT.

I am going to order the boot (around $25) and then make sure the hole is lined up right and snug. Here are the pages from the AIM which doesn't seem to show any hole.

Thanks Darrel. I found it when you pointed it out before.

The clips for the two screws to go into are still there. I just need to get the cup and screws and make sure that it is "snug".
