Default Caliper paint??

So I want to paint my calipers the same color as my car CRM. Does anyone know where I can get caliper paint in this color? Custom made color? I was looking for duplicolor regular thouch up paint but I cannot find that either.

A skilled powder coating person could help you out as well.

It all depends if you are looking for something FAST...which will FAIL...or if you are actually doing an improvement that you want to LAST...which I would agree with having the calipers powder coated.

If you are stuck on using the same color as your car...USE that paint. Not knowing anything else due to lack of important information.,..it is hard to advise you in what prep processes need to be performed to make it stick and LAST. Because calipers are made in cast iron and aluminum.

I watched a video today on YouTube about this Brit who painted the calipers on an old circuit car with regular automotive paint and the paint held at over 700 degrees F. He cleaned the calipers with sand then 3 coats of high temp primer, 3 coats of some gold paint and then 3 coats of a high temp clear. He could not get the temp up just driving the car so he jacked it up on stands and ran the car with the brakes on until it got real hot, then checked the temp over 700 degrees. when I can get a couple cans of CRM paint I'm going to try this.

I like my 86 wheels. There's no need to paint my calipers.

Jacking up a car and applying the brakes til they get hot enough so the paint on the calipers can cure is HARD CORE. A perfect example on what some people will do... For me to save the 'wear and tear' on my cars barking system..I would have broken them down and send them off for powder coating. I have better things to do with my time than sit there and get my brakes smoking hot for something like a caliper looking pretty. But that is just me.

It is ALL ABOUT THE PREP! if it is not clean and ready for a product to be applied....it will fail...regardless if it is a primer, paint, clear or whatever...and that is not an opinion....but rather it is a FACT.
