Default This is the (almost) end result

Ok, it's not yet completely assembled but good enough to get my state inspection done this morning. I even got the Headlight doors to work and the windshield wipers. Need to do the underside of the hood before I put that weatherstriping on which is why the hood isn't on. Need to get new bumpers too. The originals were crap when I bought the car in 1975.

LOOKS VERY GOOD!!!! Glad it passed the state inspection also.

I do have a slight concern for you. In the two photos below you can see that below each door...in the center...where your rocker panels will go...I have a feeling that you may not have applied enough paint there and when the rocker panels go on....you will be able to see the light gray.

Hi Dub, yeah, I guess I thought the rockers would cover it but it should be a fairly easy fix.

OH...it happens....TRUST ME. With all of the stuff I try to remember...my thoughts can get crossed up at times and I have total brain farts. I mean EPIC ones.

YES...this should be an easy fix...but I only mentioned it so you can get it done so you are not allowing overspary to get on what you have done so far....especially if you still have one more step in polishing to call that process DONE.
