Laminating numerous layers in one session...can cause them to fall off. Using tape and some material to hold the stuff you applied can also be done. It all depends on what you are doing and how you want it to look when completed.
Did not hear form you about your last issue....is that still a problem or is it repaired. I can not remember exactly what it was ..but I remember that you had something you needed help on. You were going to e-mail me some videos or something like that.

Yup all squared away. A little confusion on rods for door handle. Now it pops open perfect. I need to add some meat where hood support is small crack and looks weak

Possibly.
If I am lamination an IMPORTANT STRESS area upside down.....I would take the hood off and flip the hood so I do not have to worry about it.
AND...if I HAD TO HAVE the hood installed to get the shape/position to hold where I want it due to the break in the fiberglass.....then I would laminate ONE layer really well....let it cure...remove the hood and finish the lamination upside down.
