Here's a quick video on painting calipers using the G2 caliper paint system and some tips on how to get the raised letters to pop perfectly.
Enjoy!!

Very good video.
I would really like it if you come back and comment from time to time on how epoxy paint is holding up and if it is still adhered.

I painted the calipers on my 97 Supra with G2 and drove them at least 15 years and they continued to look like brand new! They had a shine to them and I just cleaned them with a rag when I washed the car. Any time the wheels were off, I would wipe the calipers down well because I could reach them better. Never needed repainting. I has also applied a Supra decal, which still looked perfect. My only criticism for G2 was the quality of the brush included - I switched it out for a chip brush from Lowe's and it left no brush marks.

Not having painted my calipers but doing a brake job, would there been any advantage to removing the one bolt and swinging the caliper off of the rotor to aid in cleaning and access to the parts that needed to be painted?

If I was contracted out to paint calipers..I would remove them off the rotor. I would not spend the time to mask off the rotor...but that is just me....because I would be more concerned about anything getting on the rotor. If the caliper is not there....then no cleaner or paint should get on the rotor.

Ive done this to my mercedes like 12 years ago. They are still holding up nice. clean with a wheel brush and spray with wheel cleaner. and still very glossy and brite. There is like one or 2 chips maybe from picking up on the road or changing pads. I recommend doing this when you do a brake job. so you can clean and paint it really nice. and definitely get a nicer 1" brush.

How would I get corvette letters to put over the paint 2014 stingray.

IF they are raised letters,..I would sand it off and allow the aluminum to be exposed and not apply any letters that would more than likely fall off. due to heat....unless they were buried in the clear that may be applied on top of it.

If you dont have molded raised letters, buy die cut vinyl decals on ebay. G2 paint is thick and flows out pretty smooth and glossy. after it dries its a pretty nice surface for decals to adhere. people then finish it off by spraying hi heat clear on the entire assembly to protect the decals from lifting.
