Default New Paint Job

Well I decided to take my Z06 to a friends shop!

We went to get all the materials!

BASF Glasurit is what my friend recommend it but by the time we got all the materials, I ended spending $2088.00

Hope I made a good decision on the quality paint and Clear coat

That is some of the best paint and clear you can buy! DuPont has slipped some, PPG is still good but the stuff I find the beset right now is Wanda for quality and Price.

I use Glasurit all the time. The price is tough to stomach but I think its the best paint going. Several years ago we painted a Mustang with it. Over the weekend we pulled it under a Vette that had just had the brakes bled. One of the fittings leaked brake fluid all over the trunk. The clear had swollen up and I though I would need to repaint the lid. After I washed it off It sat outside in the sun, and that afternoon and it was completely gone. That was about five years ago and you still cant see that it happened. We use 90 line waterbase and 923-450 clear. Great stuff. JBL
