Default Vette Doctors C5-A4- 427SC 798RWHP 699RWTQ

We just finished up one of our latest projects this week and we are extremely happy with the results! Our customer wanted a streetable 427 with an extra kick!

So we added an ATI F1 SC and 8psi of boost! After an extensive Vette Doctor RX427 engine build, Custom 4L60E A4 "Overdose Upgrade", Custom LS1 Edit Dyno tuning exercise and mounting help from ECS (thanks Doug and Chris), we were able to conservatively squeeze out an amazing 798RWHP and 699RWTQ on out 13th pull! I was so happy, I stopped on lucky 13 and rolled her off the drums. I could have kept trying to pull the heck out of the thing to get over 800RWHP but who really cares about that .

We also upgraded the body for the customer and added a real nice rear bumper and hood. We also mounted a set of Drag Radials and added a mini-tub.

And of course we added out RX427 badges to the beast!!!

Here are a couble shots of the car and the dyno:

Dyno:

Hood: (sorry for the dust)

427SC Engine Setup:

Rear Bumper and Tub:

The Customer is still considering putting in a roll bar so he can compete in the Pro 8 this year. He is not a full time racer but somehow he has caught the FEVER!

Damn, it seems like the VetteDoctors, known for their N/A cars are becoming S/C experts and ECS, known for their S/C cars are becoming N/A experts....whats the world coming to?

Once you hit 1000 you will need a new dyno! Change the 427 RX to 427 RX SC. I need another measely 25 HP for cheap start thinking.

Great job Carmen

Looks like when we put the S/C kit together for you we did not have the new polished ducting yet. Let me know if the customer would like some "bling" to it.

Carmen those are the kinds of numbers that I expected out of your heads/cam package when you installed it 4 years ago!!! If I can't get traction at 405RWHP what's he gonna do with that beast?

[QUOTE=TheVetteDoctors]We just finished up one of our latest projects this week and we are extremely happy with the results! Our customer wanted a streetable 427 with an extra kick!

Saw that beast up on the lift when I was dropping off my parts today. Awesome car, only wish it was in my garage. Will call Monday to set up an appoinment for my install/tune. Won't come close to B;ack Beauty but........

Thanks
Ed
