Default SAE +440rwhp on slipping clutch

Yes, went to get my dyno results today. I made over SAE 440rwhp on a slipping clutch. I'm looking at a SPEC clutch as the replacement. We tried to roll it past the peak torque, but that didn't work, it just wouldn't hold.

Todd,

Figure another 20-30 rwhp at least once you get the new clutch...just about what I predicted.

I'm pretty happy knowing that it has exceeded my expectations, but hate to have to dump more cash on it lol! Yup, you were definitely in the ballpark. The STD Power was 461rwhp lol!! Sounds alot better on a bad clutch hehe. It does run alot better and we have decided against going the speed density route. The new EFIlive program is awesome. My tuner had the guy up for the weekend that wrote the program to show him all the new stuff you can do with it, so that is paying off. Yeah, my A/F was way off, so he straightened that out and fixed the idle dip I had at startup. It's just that clutch Oh well another chapter in the book of why did I modify my Corvette? Nice numbers for that cam and a weak clutch. Who's ported LS6 heads are they?

The heads I bought from Pro-flo http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LS6-P...spagenameZWDVW
They come with a stage 1 port. I cleaned them up and polished them. I then took them over to my buddies shop and he milled them to 62cc. I'm very happy with the results, though I need a new clutch.

Are you going to tackle the clutch yourself?

Those are "holy crap" numbers by the way

Nope, going to leave it to the expert. Slowhawk is the man! He'll only have to drive it another 10'-0" to the dyno rollers and break it in.
