Default c-5 automatic stock 0-60 and 1/4 times?

whenever I research my car year, they are always listing results with a 6-speed trans. I want to know what times a 98 c-5 automatic with the performance axle ratio is capable of. Both 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Thanks

Default c-5 automatic stock 0-60 and 1/4 times?

My car (stock) did 2.3-2.2 in 60ft and 8.8-8.9 in 1/8 which is a high 13 in the 1/4.

Just in case you're loking for 0-60mph, My wife's auto with 2.73 (not your 3.15) ran a best of 5.18 before we started "tweaking"

My 02 A4 coupe, with 3.15's stock, and street tires ran a 60 2.1 and 1/8 8.7 at 83mph.

don't have 1/4 times, but that's roughly 13.4-13.5 in the 1/4.

After vararam I ran 1/8 8.53 at 84mph.

Is the 2.73 faster in 0-60 than the 3.15? I would immagine that the 2.73 gets pretty close to 60 in first gear. I know that the 3.15 has to shift before then. I would think that the lack of shift would be a big difference with the torque management.

Default Times...

The 3.15 is noticably quicker than the 2.73 axle. With just a open element air cleaner you should be low 13's. If everything is perfect you might even eek into the 12.99 range. the stock C5 air cleaner strangles the LS1. Chuck.

Ive only made 1 pass in my 98 C5 (a4, 3.15) and it was a 13.66 @ 101. The night of the pass was pretty warm and humid. Even with a 180* tstat, my engine temp was at 225* at the time of the pass. The only mods on the car was Borla Stingers, 180* Tstat, Cold Air Screens, and Falken GR-Beta Tires. I know it has plenty more in it, but it was too crowded and hot that night to make any more runs. I'll probably go back once it cools off.

My drove his 99 Bone stock C5 A4 w/ 3.15 rear end(stock) ran best of 13.4 @ 104mph.

If I get an "open air" filter will I need a tune. Sorry I'm a newb to the
Ls1 world. I bought the car from my dad this week and I want to do some basic mods. Oh the 99 has just 7,900 miles on it. Still bone stock

Pretty identical to my 01 A4.
The 01 and up C5's are a little quicker than the 97 to 00's. I would wager that yours would run 0-60 in a couple ticks over 5 seconds and do about 13.5 in the 1/4 mile.
