2002 z06 - Bolt ons with a Vette Doctors Tune (chart inside)...

I finally got around to getting a tune for my z06. I do not have a before dyno, but they all seem to be the same around 350-360whp. Im sorry I waited so long to get a tune done, its a completely different car now! Faster throttle response, harder pulls, a different sound at WOT (was running too rich and throwing codes because of the high flow cats)...its like a brand new car! A big thanks to Vette Doctors in Long Island, they were able to do the tune (at short notice I may add) in a day. Whats more impressive to me is that these numbers are for a catted setup and a stock air-bridge/accordion (my aftermarket one was rubbing on the hood liner). I think I would be damn close to 400rwhp with straight pipes and the larger airbridge. See below for the dyno (ignore the typo on the before RWTQ). I figure this setup is around 445-450hp and 435-440tq at the crank.

Mods:
MTI of Houston Ram Air Intake (Similar to Breathless Performance)
XSPower CATTED Long Tubes (Mated to stock Ti)
Ported Throttle Body
PAC 1218s (Done as preventative maintenance over the stock yellow springs but I dont think this got me anything on the dyno)
AMSOIL fluids in the rear and trans (if you want to call this a mod)

Very nice. Agree, you'd pick up another 5-10 catless. It *does* make a difference, contrary to popular belief.

How are the xspower headers? Any issues with them?

No issues with mine...I got them used from another member. I had to take my starter out (not entirely, just loosen it). I saw no difference with these over the big name headers, so I took a chance for less then half the price and I am glad I did.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but, anymore feedback on these headers? They seem pretty impressive for the money.

Still great! No issues on fitment at all, and they still pretty much look the same with just little bluing.
