Default C5 Z06 Street Sweeper Cam - 455WHP 415WTQ

Just picked up my car after installing the FTI Street Sweeper cam (236/240 .631/.612 111 lsa) and I was extremely pleased with the results. I am not sure what the record is for a cam only z06, but I have to imagine getting these sort of numbers on stock heads and intake is quite rare.

My mods are as follows: XSPower 1 3/4 LT's to a catted X-Pipe, Borla Stingers, Vararam, Powerduct, Ported TB, Powerbond UD Pulley, 160º T-Stat.

Thanks for looking!

The best way to describe it is terrifyingly awesome! Pulls very hard and get a little rear end float midway into 3rd now... good times!

Lunati Gold Dual Valve Spring Kit. The guys at New Era Performance stated that I shouldn't need to change out the springs at all.

Thanks Pat! I need to get my clutch (Mcleod RST Twin Disk) broken in first, but likely hit the track in July or August and see what new numbers I can get. My best before the cam was a 12.1@119 on street tires at NYIRP.

Thats good to know. Id check them every so often just for peace of mind nothing like a simple broken spring to ruin your day. That torque curve is sweet though man, one day ill have one too hopefully.

Yeah, definitely something I will want to keep an eye on as I get more miles on them. I also did a quick warm idle clip so others can get an idea of how it sounds.

I have been having a blast all summer with the car and finally was able to get it to the track. I uploaded some dash cam videos and the times are noted in the video description. I was on my same 5 year old street tires that didn't hook very well, but managed a best of 12.1@121. Picked up ~4mph in the 1/8th over my previous best and ~2MPH in the 1/4, but with a worse 60' of 2.1 compared to 1.9 last year when i ran 12.1@119.

Nice. On street tires the mph and et don't count. Get a radial on there.

Anytime you have Ed Curtis on your side its a good thing.

Sounds about like mine. I also have street sweeper cam. LT's, vararam, ls2 intake, 3.42, auto with 4000 stall. Ran 11.8@118 with sloppy 1.76 60'(555r). I dyno'd 415/375 through auto

Thanks everyone, I am quite pleased with the car and with some stickier rubber next year I'm hoping for those elusive 11's.
