Well, both...it is a very pretty track with good grip ya know.
I don't want to give away anyone's ETs but a few people put down some nice numbers considering the air ('good' DA but certainly not 'great'). I'll let them post their own if they want to.
GREAT seeing Marshall's old car out there running again.

I would like to thank everybody who showed up and made this a successful event
Tommy from Anger Management was able to give me back the car the night before the rental, it was 11:00 before I finished loading on the trailer. Marshall's car had some work being done and the new computer was giving fits all morning. Brian came and set the car enough to drive, each pass was getting a little better then the next as the air was getting better inthe late afternoon. The window for air was short and most were already on the trailers so the track was going away fast.
I was still able to cut a decent 60 foot of 1.41 but I feel it had some 1.3's in it but ... could I have bettered the cars best of 10.196 @ 132.10 the first time out ... NO but once the tune gets better I'm sure we'll be giving it a try!
My 98 was not able to make it. Took some pics, enjoy!
Thanks again all!!

Great track day (and great pics), Rob, thanks for putting it all together.
Nah, it was just average at best for this time of year in this area at least, only 29.75 - 29.90 the entire day according to the hand held weather stations we had at the actual track.
Tonight and tomorrow though? Now THAT will be high for this time of year.
Temps even creeped a little higher than expected in the middle of the day but still a negative density altitude the whole time.
Car leaves HARD, Greg, and that trap speed!

I wish I was able to talk with you guys some more and put some faces to the screen names but I left early after breaking my axle. My M&H front runner picked up something and went flat after only my 3rd pass too, so it just wasn't my day. I think I cut a 1.59 and a 1.60 on my first couple passes so the track felt good to me. I'm hitting the rev limit about a car and a half or more before the finish line so my mph is always the same at 124.xx. My best pass of the day was an 11.46 @ 124.93. If I had a couple more runs I'm sure I could've done a little better than my PB of 11.42. Thanks for having me and let me know if you guys have anything planned in the spring. I'm always down for a track day.

It was nice to see everyone again. I missed the whole season this year. But Marshall's car ran great, especially with a new holley system in it, and it was only started a half hour before the first pass... Tommy's car ran awesome as usual, Dennis's GS ran great. Greg's mustang finally hooked a little at the end of the day, although he was leaving really soft. But, most of us went home with no carnage....

The new Holley system is impressive to say the least, can't wait to have the other car upgraded too and start learning the programming part.
I think it may "learn" too correct things. Below I tried to come out at about the same rpms that Marshall told me where the car likes but you can see how it's starting to take off and surge. I am stopped with one bulb and wanted to see how high I could go on the converter but I would have pushed the skinny's the way it was surging ...

What brand is that electric scooter that someone was riding on? Also, where did you get it? I could really use something like that when I'm at the track as long as it folds up.

I've got one too. I like it and the battery seems to last a pretty long time.
