Default Help with horsepower estimation

1997 m6 ls1 coupe with milled/ported and polishes 243 heads, torquemax 2 cam kit with brian Tooley springs, a borla exhaust system with high flow cats. I have the cam card if necessary. I'm trying to get a ballpark idea of what hp/torque range and idea of a general 1/4 mile time. The car was tuned by frost "mail order". Im hoping to hit the dyno soon for a dialed in tune and dyno numbers.
Thanks guys!

Alot will depend on the heads, do you have flow numbers or know who ported them to what specs? A bad port job on 243s can cost you HP/tq. But with the mild Cam and other mods you should be close to 400RWHP, a set of LT headers would def. give it a boost.

With a good tire on the back low 12s are def. possible.

I don't know the numbers, I might be able to find out, was a reputable machines thats pretty well known here locally for building engine and doing head work on drag cars. And as for tires I have some brand new nitto 555s. I did notice a bit of a difference in power, but I did the heads and cam all at once.

I have Nitto INVOs on my street wheels now and have tried them at the track, the 555s are gonna make it tough in the first 60' of the run in terms of launch and traction. I tried my track (autoX/HPDE) tires a 200 series bridgestone while great for corners was terrible on the drag strip (side walls to stiff). I just got a set of NItto NT05Rs im gonna try this weekend at the track and hopefully will help my 60' times. A strong street type start at the strip will be your best bet for getting off the line with the 555s anything stronger and its either gonna bog down or go up in smoke on the start.

If the heads are from a Drag shop like you mentioned im sure they have experience with LS cathedral ports, alot of the flow and quality of the head is more dependent on velocity of the incoming air not just size of the runner or quantity of air.

I'd guess 375ish hp. 1/4 mile times would really be tough to guess. Lots of other factors play into that.
