Just a suggestion but to avoid problems why not set a time for the drivers/participants meeting? My "as early as possible" might be hours different from another participant's "as early as possible". Ambiguity in the rules promotes problems and hard feelings. We need neither. Thanks, Gary.

OK then, I'll plan on being at the gate by 8:30 at the latest when they open and be at the meeting at 8:45. Meeting at the tower? Starting line? Where? Just making sure everyone is on the same page.

Your son always produces top quality vids. I strongly recommend to all attendees to purchase a personalize video of their car. It greatly assists in the analysis of the crucial launch.

I'm certainly not saying our Vette will not be ready by November but if one's primary car is not ready for this event, can we bring a back-up non-Corvette car instead? Like a Twin Turbo Stealth? We've been running down an issue with the transmission/torque converter on the Vette for a couple of months now and it's like banging one's head against the wall. Not much positive progress and it hurts like he__.

Wow, this filled up quickly. I'm glad we got our name in the hat when we did. Just a quick question to the participants here. Anybody planning (or hoping) to run well into the 5's in the 660' at this event? Just trying to gauge who and what might be showing up. Thanks to anyone willing to share this info. If it's top secret, I certainly understand. Looking forward to seeing and meeting each and every one of you there. Take care, guys (and gals).

I'm hoping most there will be in this performance category. I'd like to see how everyone achieves this performance level. Supercharger? Turbo? N2O? Plain bad *** motor? We should run 5's but you just never know. Car has had transmission issue(s) so no real testing has been done since we ran the 6.18 @ 110+ rolling the car out about a car length before calling on the motor. The car is in the shop now getting the transmission issue resolved plus a bunch of other mods. We're taking almost 250 pounds off the car. We were 3740 when we ran the 6.18 and we're adding around 100 RWHP on top of that outing as well. We had 25.9" tall 17" Hoosier drag radials before and now we're switching to 28" tall Hoosier slicks so hopefully we will be able to run WOT from the hit. It's bad to expect a number and then not get it but we've got a real good chance if everything comes together. I'm just hoping to compare notes that day and share in your successes if everyone's up with that. On a side note, who's bringing food and cooking out???
