02 Z06 with cam, no headers result
Just got my car back today from Horsepower Sales in West Palm beach and I am extremely happy with the results. I dealt with Tod who was very patient and thorough. Have been contemplating swapping out cam with the springs. Car is my daily and did not want anything too loud or a cam that did not have good street manners.
HPS recommended 224/230 114 comp cam. Car is otherwise stock with KnN drop in filter and borla axleback. On their mustang dyno car made 403.85. Car has all the torque in the world and a ton of power throughout the band.
Slight chop on idle with a bit of a louder note. 2nd gear spins the tires with almost new bridgestones. Feels like a monster and im sure any more power would kill me
Did not really care to make much power, just wanted good street manners and the safety of new valve springs. I got more than I could ever ask for from the guys at HPS.
The team at Horsepower sales was extremely nice and very pleasant to deal with. I got a tour of their shop and after seeing all the other corvettes there, made me comfortable. Got to talk with the main tech Mike (LS Master) about what I should expect. Took them 2 days to install and tune car. These guys have my business from now on.
Sorry about the crappy photo, took it while driving. Still shows a nice torque curve. Will upload video as well

Nice, if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay just for the cam swap in labor.
Thinking about a swap myself but for something a little bigger with rougher idle. But not too choppy

Im sure you mean cam with supporting mods as well. Guys at horsepower sales did the entire package for less than $2400. Included cam, dual spring, titanium retainers, hardened pushrods, fluids and tune. Cannot beat their price and expertise. I was quoted almost 4k in a few other places. Super happy with car!
