Default Help with backspacing for 16x8 rear rims

Hey all I've been looking into switching to 16" rear wheel setup for the track. All the research I've done never gave me any specific details. All I could find is that people run some fbody rims and CCWs.. anyways I'm looking at a set of centerline telstars 16x8 with 5" backspacing. Will these work for me? (With the exception of some minor grinding of course) any help is appreciated👍

I'm assuming your hoping to fit those wheels on a C5. If so, I think you would need more backspacing or else they will stick out. From what I've seen the minimum bs required would be 6 1/2" roughly. Also, not familiar with that style wheel but make sure the you have ample pad height to clear the calipers.
