New Best...quest for the 9s
Went to the infamous (and my first time) No Dam Excuses rental at MIR last week...
I'm still learning the car and need alot of work on my launching technique....
I have owned the car for a year now and have been to the track 3 times and each time I have added more power..... starting at 530 then 630 and now currently 680
anyway here is my best pass
60'... 1.760
330.. 4.573
1/8... 6.842
MPH.. 107.83
1000... 8.793
1/4..... 10.408
MPH... 140.72
DA 400'
temp 68*
With MORE seat time and with (what I feel) a 1.50-1.55 60' I think a 9.9 is very possible

I think running a set of bias ply tires along with skinnies will help. You could launch relatively hard and get it into the high 1.4s with less chance of breakage. The DRs will work but it is much more difficult to obtain a great launch.

Here is some encouragement from clemsondave from back in the day. (IIRC, Dave setup this rental at MIR.)
You are making better power with a similar setup. The vid reveals a great DR launch.
