Here’s a glimpse into the life of a California surfer dude, 29-year-old Jason Greenslate, living the good life in La Jolla, complements of friends, family and the American taxpayer.
Because Greenslate is unemployed, he’s able to claim benefits under the EBT/Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). And why is Greenslate unemployed? Not because of the economy, not because he was laid off and not because he suffers from an injury or ailment. He’s unemployed simply because he chooses to be.
The Obama administration has lowered the standards to receive federal SNAP benefits, resulting in a 70 percent increase in program enrollment in the almost five years since his inauguration.
Watch the clip, taken from a one-hour special that aired Friday night, compliments of Fox News.
I saw the interview on Fox. Showed him partying all day. Even followed him into a grocery store where he picked up a whole lobster and paid for it with his snap card. Then later putting it on the grill with his buds having a good time at our expense.
What disgusted me the most was just his arrogance of doing the interview and rubbing it in the tax payer's face. Years ago, not only would most folks be somewhat embarrassed about being on food stamps, but would be very hesitate to openly doing a TV interview bragging about it.
I tweeted this all over and gave Dennis Miller and Kelly Slater (surfing champ if you didn't know) a heads up. This guy is the quintessential fast times at ridgemont high Sean Penn (Jeff Spicoli) spinnoff. This is what we get. I am disgusted with him/no respect.
