As much as I like LED I must say I really like the stock afterburner looking tail lights. LED is KOOL, don't get me wrong, but with all the new cars out with the LED's, I really like the stock on Corvettes. :hide:

I hate buying electrical parts from Ebay but nobody at Mid America can tell me who makes the ones they're selling. If anyone has any info or pics of them, it would be greatly appreciated. I know Mid America would warranty their lights for one year.

Has anyone fitted LED bulbs on the stock housings? Somebody posted a while back a link to 'autolumination', but there're like a 100 different kinds. There were some regular bulb-sized ones (called 'matrix') priced at a very decent $8.99 (vs $30 each for others), but said they're slightly larger than OEM bulbs.

I also don't know if the 3rd brake light is LED or not. If not, then we'd need an LED bulb in there as well.

I saw these also.. They are stated for Z06.. but are these the ones you guys have installed in regular C6 coupes?? I didn't know there was a difference in the tail lights from C6 Coupe to C6 Z06.... hmmm.:crazy2:

There is no difference across the models as far as tail lights go.

Here are mine installed. I also added seq blinkers and have a video of it. Everyone I've showed them too seems to really like them.

:iagree: Those other LED websites make selection of LED/HID lights difficult. Too many choices sizes and shapes. I'll stick with the Corvette vendors on here since they already know the vehicle specifics of our cars and have tested their stuff out on their own Corvettes. They make selection for what works in our cars.:cheers:

I have just about redone everything in the car. I just got it back today from a complete audio system install. Sounds sweet, but I have to fine tune it.

I'll be at the Museum Bash at the end of April. Everything should be done by then.

The only thing left to do is the biggie.................. a supercharger. :D

That's gonna have to wait a few years until my warranty expires.
