tcs and abs lights on c1221 c1232

Guys,

Need a little help diagnosing this recently my belt snaped and made a huge wipping noise and i noticed it wacked the abs connection right under the crank drive pully, this caused the abs and tcs lights to turn on and two codes to pop up c1221 and c1232. Any idea on what can be causing this.

Thanks,
Ralph

Sounds like the BPMV module is not getting 12 volts. I am not home to look up your codes and I have a 2000 so codes maybe be different. That thing with six brake lines going to it is the heart and soul of abs and tcs. When I get home I will look up those codes for you.

Tcs Abs

Greatly Appriciate It, This Thing With No Abs Or Traction Control In The Rain Can Get Pretty Intimidating.

It's the left front wheel speed sensor not "reporting" to the CPU. Check the connection at wheel bearing. (Shown below) and then check the connection at the other end of the harness. If you aren't sure what is going on switch the wiring harnesses around and see if it moves the problem to the other side. You can your error codes at:

Check The Connection

How Do I Check The Connection Visually Or With A Voltmeter?

Since the belt tapped the connector a quick look might show you what is damaged. Do the easy things first. GOOD LUCK!!!

Visual Check

Will Do

Thanks

visual inspection

Visual inspection indicates everything is good nothing broken or damaged and now there is a new code c1225 it seems the rf tire has joined the problem.
