Iowa has car shows too, with Corvettes even
 

Nice turnout of Corvettes as well as others of honorable mention. Not all car shows are in California and Florida, heh, heh, heh.

The show (if that is what you are asking) was held at Karl's Chevrolet in Ankeny, just a few miles north of Des Moines.

Where and when was this show? I live in Iowa and I didn't hear about it. I try and make it to all of the car shows in Iowa.

In Ankeny, north of Des Moines. It was my first time to that particular show. I heard about it via 'word-of-mouth', although I was told that it was in the Des Moines paper as well. I'm not sure if it is an annual event.

The next major show (Corvette only) coming up is June 3rd in Indianola, 15m south of Des Moines and on June 4th at the fairgrounds in Iowa City.

An "all makes" show is planned at Hooters in West Desmoines (22nd st) May 21st. Big Corvette turnout there as well as the usual Hooters "eyecandy".

I'll try to make it out to one of the upcoming shows.
